Workshop 12/9
December 9th we met with the students to start editing the footage in imovie. In this session we watched clips of Wayne and Jessie's interviews and took notes on interesting and exciting parts that should go into the final product. We also talked about what didn't work or what everyone disliked about each clip. It was fun to see the students react to seeing themselves on screen. Some things noted was that they want to add music to the interviews and edit them into sections such as questions on art or questions on personal life.
After watching the two interviews I think we will be editing Jessie's in imovie next week and have that be the final product of this semester's work. Since we have run out of time we want to have one finished video and Jessie's interview will be it. Not sure how much will be completed next week, we will have to wait and see. I think the students will continue to film more interviews and create more videos next semester, which is great because they all seem to enjoy the work they have been doing at HPAC.

Workshop Updates
After interviewing the 2 New Zealand artists, a resident artist, and HPAC's curator, we interviewed another artist named Jessie, I believe on November 18th. Her interview took place next to her artwork in the second floor gallery and it went really well. The students were excited about asking her questions about her art and her dog and personality. The video footage from Jessie's interview is probably the best yet since the students were somewhat experienced in filming already.
After Jessie's interview, we had the students film themselves interviewing each other and that was pretty funny. They got really into it and seemed to enjoy filming and interviewing each other. This helped them get more comfortable with the camera and being filmed.
